Covering more than three dozen specialties, 112 SLU Care doctors were selected for St. Louis Magazine's 2006 "Best Doctors" list. The list is based on the annual "Best Doctors in America" database. The geriatrics program is ranked 12th in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

U.S. News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools 2007" issue rated Saint Louis University School of Medicine No. 62 out of 143 leading research-intensive medical schools.

Modern Maturity named Saint Louis University Hospital one of the top 50 in the United States for elderly patients.

The School of Medicine recently received the two largest grants in University history. The first was a $36.8 million award from the National Institutes of Health to combat herpes. The second-largest ever grant was announced a few months earlier: an $18 million grant to the Vaccine Treatment and Evaluation Unit at SLU's Center for Vaccine Development.

...I hope to see you at Summer Camp in 2008!
